美國留學專家介紹，美國芝加哥大學位于美國伊利諾伊州的芝加哥市。芝加哥是美國僅次于紐約市和洛杉磯的第三大都會區(qū)，位于美國中部，密歇根湖畔與芝加哥河交匯處。夏季酷熱，冬季不寒，終年多風的氣候，稱為“風城”。芝加哥市區(qū)內(nèi)既保存著早期傳統(tǒng)的西歐建筑，又有壯觀巍峨的現(xiàn)代摩天大樓。市中心的西爾斯大廈是美國第一高樓，高443米，有110層。它是美國最大的期貨市場，也是美國中部的高等教育中心。
